Χανιά | Αφήστε και κανένα πεζοδρόμιο βρε παιδιά…
Εικόνες άσχημες. Θα συμφωνούσε ο καθένας βλέποντας τα μηχανάκια πάνω στα πεζοδρόμια και τα κλαδιά παρατημένα εμποδίζουν τη διέλευση των πεζών, στην οδό Σφακίων.
Θα συμφωνούσαν όλοι, εκτός από εκείνους που άφησαν τα οχήματά τους εκεί πάνω. Το μηχανάκι είναι ευκολία για μετακίνηση μέσα στη πόλη – ιδίως τώρα που είναι αυξημένη. Δεν είναι όμως ευκολία το να το παρκάρεις όπου βρεις, αλλά παρανομία και έλλειψη σεβασμού.
Τα κλαδιά δε.. τσουβαλιασμένα περιμένουν το απορριμματοφόρο να τα μαζέψει.

None of these motorcycles block anything. You see the trees on the sidewalk? They block that part, anyways. If you removed the bike next to the trash, would it make a difference? No. I agree with most stories like these, but this one is a stretch. Before I came to Chania, I never saw trees, or light poles, obstructing sidewalks like it does here. The bikes have been respectful, parking behind the trees, not obstructing the part of the sidewalk people would walk on. Do you even find yourself walking on the sidewalk, just to suddenly walk on the part that is between the trees, for three meters, then walk back to the path you were already walking on? Of course not. The part of the sidewalk between the trees is not being used by pedestrians – naturally.
